Bonus Code IGGY on Party Poker, damnit!
I'm still here.

I talked my good friend, GMoney, into jumping back on Party Poker and he's ran his $100 deposit into nearly $800 only playing the 2.4 Monster Bad Beat tables. Geepers, he should tithe me.

So hell, it was almost two years ago when I left my boss's office after officially quitting my job, walked skipped back to my desk, logged into Blogger and wrote out a simple Native American saying on this here humble poker blog:

"Today is a good day to die."

And thus the journey began.

And thusly, today was my first day back on the job. Having to wear pants wasn't nearly as traumatic as I expected.

Truth be told, I'm really excited about this opportunity.
Plus, everyone in the office is much younger, good-looking, and wittier than I expected.

But I'm lucky that this firm has plucked some of the best & brightest from my old agency, so I actually have a few familiar faces as I start out. That makes a big difference.

And so this morning, upon opening my email, I received a funny email from a buddy in the biz who celebrated the fact that I've returned to the ad agency fold.

Simply enough, he sent me the lyrics to Welcome Back Kotter:

Welcome back, your dreams were your ticket out.
Welcome back to that same old place that you laughed about.
Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around.

Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Back here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)

Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've got him on the spot,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.
